Today’s wedding took place in the heart of La Jolla Village, the La Jolla Cove Suites. Blessed with a view of La Jolla’s hills and the Pacific Ocean, we were in for another scenic venue.

Though summer is near its end, the temperature averages 90 degrees around the Park Hyatt Aviara creating some of that beautiful weather San Diego is known for. The guest of Michael and Kristin Helms gather in the Palm Courtyard as MY DJs wedding DJ Earl Henry plays a traditional ceremonial prelude.
Helms Cocktail Hour
As the cocktail hour arrives, DJ Earl Henry creates atmosphere playing music such as Jack Johnson, Kings of Leon, and The Kooks.

Furthering our unique touch, MY DJs provides red up lighting giving the Avalon Ballroom an autumn feel.

Quite the update this weekend, with an wedding so large it required two DJs to man the helm. We start with our ceremony along the beach of the Hotel del Coronado, where MY DJs wedding DJ DeOndre Essex provides sound for the Phalip’s ceremony and guest. Not to mention providing a lapel microphone and sound for the speaker; Reverend Grant Daversa.
California Spirit
With a two hour transition, we move along tot he other side of the island where the California Spirits awaits in harbor. MY DJs wedding DJ Earl Henry has long since arrived and made the requested arrangements for the coming reception.

Still moments before the receptions start, we observed the dinner arrangements.

As everyone else enjoys the breathtaking view of Coronado Bay, Alain and Jennifer Phalip hold each other.
