Upcoming singer/songwriter, Cedrice has been singing since she was a young girl. Born and raised in San Diego, Cedrice performs her music at local open mics like Train of Thought and Lestats. You can find her cover of Frank Ocean’s, “Thinking About you” Nina Simone’s, “Feeling Good” and many more at soundcloud.com/cedricemusic. She has tried out for NBC’s singing contest “The Voice” and made it to the call back auditions in 2011 which caught the attention of NBC 7 San Diego news. She was broadcasted on live news to share her story in hopes of inspiring her viewers.
Cedrice is currently working on building her music career and writing her own music to share her love and stories with the world. Her lyrics and melodies have been inspired by soulful music like the blues, neo-soul, and R&B. Her goal is to connect and become a musical inspiration to and for her listeners.
Aside from music, Cedrice is in college to pursue Media and Broadcasting. She loves hiking, surfing, and enjoys nothing more than basking in the sun in her lovely hometown.
